The Affilorama Review

You got to read this review because I have spoken to Mark Ling regarding his latest product, Affilorama, and I have been to the Affilorama website to look at *all* the available videos in his 6-part minicourse, and most importantly, I have caught a glimpse of Affilorama, the mouthwatering, salivating, eager-beaver product itself.

If you've been around online long enough, surfing internet websites many times over, no one can tell it better than you - there are lots of scams and boo-boos online. It isn't everyday I get to take a look at a course before the launch.

Since I've seen it, I'll write about it! And I hope that this review proves to be useful to you. (give me your feedback here)

Uhh... so, is it good?

As I have seen the course, how it works etc, I assure you that Affilorama is not a scam, and neither is it a boo-boo.

If you've got yourself a copy already, you can stop reading here, and go polish up the videos in Affilorama. And...

Tell me what you think here.

My first reaction was...

Affil-orama? *skeptical* Sounds like a fly-by-night product. "-orama" makes it sound like it came from a circus or some japanese cartoon show. And "affil-" obviously has to do with affiliate marketing or affiliate selling.

Nevertheless, I clicked over to Mark's website, and there was a video. This video is the first installation of the 6-part minicourse, which I strongly advice that you sign up to, because if you are planning on buying the course, then you ought to know if you like the style of teaching.

affilorama small box review Okay, you impatient people, here the link to the 6-part minicourse. Opens in a new window, but keep reading.

The introduction was pretty impressive. That was the part that changed my mind about it being a fly-by-night product. It was followed by a no-fluff video presentation.

There's this lady that was asking Mark questions as he goes through the content. It's an innovative way to carry out the presentation. (And of course, I found out later that the video presentations AKA the DVDs of the physical product are also done up in the same style.)

The Product and its Bonuses

First of all, and most importantly - the lessons to kickstart your affiliate marketing. The lessons are comprehensive and covers all the basic know-how you need to begin. If I remember it right, the main course alone has at least 32 video presentations. And there are separate broadband and dialup presentations for every lesson.

In addition to the course, there's:

  1. All the videos in the 6-part minicourse (yes, all at one go).
  2. Two very special interviews (more on them later).
  3. A directory of affiliate programs...
  4. A members-only forum... and
  5. Mark promises a 3rd (secret) bonus worth $197.

That's a lot of material to cover!

And it costs? $199.95 for the downloadable (which is accessed via the members' area) and $399.95 for the physical product (also require to pay shipping and handling).

On the Interviews and Interviewees

There are two very special interviews. Special, because they are not like any other interviews. No transcripts, no mp3s... Totally video, with clear audio, no buzzing, no hissing, no too-louds and no too-softs. In fact, it's so clear there's no need for transcripts. Just grab your pen and paper, turn up your speakers and watch it.

One of the interviewees is Tom Hua. For those who don't know him, he's from China (he went to Australia a long time ago), and earned a living through the internet. Let me reassure you: Tom Hua speaks very well, and does not have strong, un-understandable chinese accent. So don't use that as an excuse to not purchase Affilorama.

Affilorama Course Study Tips

The course content: a lot to cover. Space out the videos out and take time to watch them. Note down the key videos so you know which to go back to. Sometimes we don't catch tips on the first run, we watch it a few times. There are lesson notes as well, so it will be good to have them printed so you can follow closely. Taking notes during the video presentation will be necessary, since the notes are the ones you can quickly refer to.

The bonus interviews: I feel there is a lot to learn from. There's the motivational factor in the videos and the educational part

The directory: I feel it would be a good place to start looking for products to sell or promote. At the time of entry, there wasn't an available directory for me to search, so I cannot comment on the contents. But I'm sure Mark will build up that directory with time.

There is a special members-only forum to discuss affiliate-only matters. This will be GOLD. Once you have mastered affilorama by going through the lessons, go to the forum and pitch in your ideas, criticise, commend... you will learn even more.

This course isn't just for collecting e-dust. It is not to be purchased and left alone. You need to work through the course.

What's terrible about Affilorama?

It's an honest truth - every product has its shortcomings. And so does Affilorama.

In a nutshell, it is a comprehensive course. A lot of content.

Warning: You may be overwhelmed by the amount of information. Be forewarned: go through the material slowly and with care. Space it out over time, and follow the guide.

It is NOT a short-and-sweet answer to your affiliate worries. It is not for the superbusy people who do not even have no time for their family.

Other than the above, it is informative, all-in-one-stop course. And this saves time, $$$ and effort looking at a host of other similar ebooks trying to teach 10% (or less) of what this course does. Definitely a bargain for this price ($199.99 for downloadable product, and $399.99 for physical product).

Some videos in the lessons (not the interviews) are sized wrongly (too big), so it gets hard to read the whole screen without some scrolling around. This only happens when you view the lessons online. Overcome this issue by downloading the video and viewing it on your computer instead.
