A Tribute to… Gary Halbert
This is an unfortunate and sad day. I never thought I’d be writing this blog post.
I am sorry to inform that Gary Halbert, the king of copywriting, has died in his sleep over the weekend.
I don’t know him too well, neither do I know him personally. But I do feel a connection with him, and I am still shaking my head at the thought of his death. He still lives on in our memories. At least I know he still does in mine.
The first thought of him rings in the advertisement he wrote to try to find a lady whom he would like to spend his time with. A long advertisement, and truly memorable.
I’ll leave it to his circle of closer friends to tell you more about him, and their tributes:
